At Petra Seeds, we use an in-house custom-made relational database with excellent functionality to keep tracking of all our pedigrees, elite lines, hybrid combinations and commercial varieties.

- Pedigrees tracking and their phenotypic assessment
- Designing crosses between male and female elite lines at the stage of crosses planning before deciding on pre-crosses and scheduled pollination
- Hybrids created from elite lines combinations
- General and specific combining ability tests.
- Trials in different geographical locations and seasons with several fields for important characteristics including scoring
- The database has excellent capabilities to accommodate pictures, videos, audio and all document format, including PDF, excel and Word.
