

Since the start of the industrial revolution, the global population has been growing at an alarming rate. This is causing a huge demand for food. The problem is that this demand is coming at the same time as high energy prices and climate change are making food harder and more expensive to produce.
A number of strategies can be employed to fix this problem:
1. Reduce greenhouse gas emission
2. We need to accelerate our progress in agricultural productivity to feed the growing population Science and technology
3. We need to distribute food in a better way and we need to reduce our wastage of it
4. We need to find new innovate ways to produce food
These four strategies can’t work without strong regulations and proactive governmental policies.
